The Question with Kaepernick Is....

Did he kneel down too quickly?
Was he prepared for the consequences of him kneeling down at the time?
Was it an act of emotion or was it calculated and balanced?
Does he need the money from a new contract?
Are these reports really speaking through him or for him?
Are they implying that he's begging and hoping and wishing somebody gives him a new contract?
....Or are they saying that because he knelt down?
How DOES Kaep really feel about all of this?

I see a lot of speculation (that's all I can call it right now) on social media about Kaep's free agency situation.  A lot of opinionated banter about the "whys" and the "what should be dones",  boycotts and all of that stuff.  Truth be told, I have to ask the questions; "why wait til Kaep can't get a contract to boycott?  Why was Kaep the only notable figure kneeling down?  Why didn't more influential players kneel down with him?  Why does Kaep want to be a part of an organization (NFL) that cares little to nothing about his beliefs and values?

All of these questions have to be asked of our star athletes that languish in these sports leagues as high paid slaves.  Slaves to the contracts and the money.  How much freedom do they have to express themselves.  Like most entertainers, they probably have a bunch of restraints as well.  What they can do.... what they can't do.... with their mouth, time, and money.

I don't even like the word boycott.... what is a boycott gonna do to someone who has patience and the deviant mentality to find a workaround no matter what?

Separation.....
